The Airplane Crash That Changed My Life
The plane headed to the end of the take off track. It headed straight up and my body was like floating on space. It has taken off. My family and I were on an airplane that is going to Hawaii.
“Sleep”, said Dad.
“It’s midnight Dad”, I replied. Through the night, I played the games on the screen in front of me. It was lame, but I got nothing to do.
And it was four A.M. The staff told us to take our seat. I was wondering why. Later, the airplane started going down, and down, and down. I felt really dizzy. It was heading straight down, and Kaboom!!! The airplane was smashed in to debris. I look around, fearfully. I looked to my family, they survived. I looked around, none of them made it. They were all dead. My hand was bleeding like water splashing out from a water fountain. My family looked around for a first aid kit. When my older Brother found one, my dad rolled the band around my left hand. I was terrified. The band some part got bloody. The rest of my family was a hundred percent fine.
“What should we do now?” My Brother asked.
"There's nothing here, maybe we should go to the other side of this island.” Dad said.
“Let’s go”, said Mom.
We climbed up the mountain. It was a harsh journey, but we made it. We spent the night on that mountain. I’m glad that it didn’t rain. The next morning I woke up, and behold the wonderful view of the other side. The forest was most beautiful place I’ve seen. Between the forest was a river, heading to the sea. My family woke up, and climbed down the mountain. Again, it was a harsh journey, but we finally get down at between afternoon and night. We found some plants on trees of the forests. My brother is good at climbing mountains, so he climbed to get the fruits down. For dinner we ate nothing but fruit. We kept going until midnight we slept. At midnight there were bugs and sounds of animals around us. I feel uncomfortable and a little bit scared. When we woke up the next morning, we were surrounded by freaks!!! They wore skirts and native shirt, with a tooth for the necklace and there hair was pulled to right and left, as wide as thirty centimeter per side. Fortunately for us, they do have one thing in common, their languages. They spoke English to, how lucky.
“Who are you, and why are you here?” A man standing in front of the freaks asked.
“We’re a family, we’re from US and our airplane crashed”, my dad said.
“What’s an airplane?” The man asked.
“Oh great, not only freaks but stupid to”, I said.
“Quiet, it’s a transportation that can fly, like a bird that carries people”, my dad said.
“So a bird carried you and your family here”, he replied.
“Yeah you can say that”, my dad said.
“Ok, so what do you want to do with them?” The man said, I think he is the chief.
They whispered for a while.
“Ok, what can you do better planting or farming” The chief-like man asked.
“Ok, how about shopping for plants and meats”, my mom said.
“Sshhh, none of them we can do”. Dad said
“Well you’ll have to get use to it”. The man said. They gave us a tent for a home, how worse can it get. So the tent is not so bad, it got a real comfy small small bed in the tent. And for the next day we have to help the others plant, while my father and brother will go to practice hunting and hunt some animals. Me and my mom didn’t really helped, but in the opposite, we were really clumsy. We destroyed some of their plants. My dad and brother told me that they missed the preys in a very great chance, and messed the whole practice. A bad start for the first day. Everybody hated us. They considered we are useless. I don’t believe so. And it kept going like that for approximately 2 months.
Then one day dad said, “We cant keep going like this, we need to change, try”. On that same day, my mom and I helped each other out, we apologized to the freaks. They accepted. They taught us all the things we need to know for farming like planting, the seeds, amount of water, the seasons … My dad and brother had a great day. They handled their arrows and bows well. They hunted a lot down. So our lives changed since that day. It was good.
